V = Venue for Change

Stories that endure are those that speak to people of truth. Moral stories tell of a good man who goes from rags to riches or good people who triumph over evil for the betterment of themselves, family, friends and society.

Dickens stories are a perfect example. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Dickens

The purpose of your story may be only to put a few dollars in your pocket, but writing provides an opportunity to make the world a better place.

Eventually every writer has a legacy, what’s yours?

I'm definitely a big ideas kind of writer. I'm looking for publishers and readers interested in actually reading them...

I like to think I make folks laugh. My memoir My Zoo World (on amazon) is certainly a skewed view of me dealing with my fear of animals. If you can't laugh, then what's the point. Good post and it does make one think.

I think my writing legacy is to research and discover more about my Russian background so my grandchildren and children will have some understanding of me. My father who lived in a perilous time in Russia, kept his past a secret, such a loss for my sister and myself because of his early death.

Stopping by through the A-Z. My legacy? To share my stories in a way others will love them. It might take me a year to get them ready, but they're ready. (I hope) and leave the reader with the feeling they want to grab another. :)

Join your site. looks great!
