Sarah escapes life with her father and step-mother to another place, the Labrynth. She discovers that she truly loves her half-brother and sets out to save him from the goblin king.

The goblin king, played by David Bowie points out the trouble with her argument about life being unfair and how much of what we see and experience is all about our point of view.

With the help of fanciful friends, Sarah saves her brother and returns home.

The final feature film Jim Henson made before his death, it was deemed a failure at the time. Since the film has found its niche audience and is considered a children’s classic film.

as much as I love Jim Henson work, this was not a fave. But I"m not really into fantasy either.

I need to sit down and watch this one properly at some point. Pretty sure I've seen some of it.
