Ophthalmologist

I think it's allergic conjunctivitis and an abrasion but I'm not sure... said the doctor. I'm sending you to a specialist.

Arriving at the point where doctor and patient connect, he said, it's no conjunctivitis, it's not an abrasion, it's a rare ulceration. You could go blind. But I can't treat you until your primary care doctor sends a note to the insurance company. Come back another time.

Primary care doctors are never available when you need them. It's in their contract with the insurance companies.

What allergies?

Flowers

Food

No It's Chemicals.

It appears the allergy is to people.

Lu's Diner

January writing project is Lu's Diner a One-Act Play.

Lu owns a diner off highway 491. Each evening he receives seven into his diner. Once at the diner, guests face themselves. Each declares the diagnosis:  heaven or hell.

The process of playwright allows for fabulous dialog and an examination of the condition of human-kind.

Bye 2014

2014 was a rough year. So many endings all in one year, it's been overwhelming.

In the midst of some of the saddest days, there were pleasant and wonderful moment.

I'm reminded to not look to the past as I move forward into the future. A moment could be lost for all it can be, if my head is somewhere else.
